On Friday afternoon, I noticed that all my Opera Mini browsers stopped working on the Airtel network.I was thinking it was a network error but later found out all other applications on my phone were working properly.
I called the Airtel customer care and was told they no longer support Opera Mini on their network. So many people kept complaining about this issue while some, especially Blackberry users said they were still making use of it.
I was so sad I lost access to the best mobile browser so decided to find a solution as Uc Browser was my only alternative and I am very happy to let you know I am now surfing with my Opera Mini Handler on the Airtel network.STEPS TO FOLLOW
Make sure you have an Editable Operamini Handler. When I say Editable Operamini Handler, I mean any Operamini that has a space to enter some values.
Make sure you have an active data plan either BIS or the normal ones as this is not free.
Insert the following into your Opera Mini Handler and connect using your normal Airtel Settings
In the space for Host, just type airtellive.com
Thats all you need to be able to use Operamini on your phone with Airtel.
